He later moved into the forefront of visual effects and virtual production, working with industry leaders like Discrete Logic (Autodesk) and NBC Universal, where he helped pioneer real-time graphics and immersive virtual sets for major broadcast events.

At Blackmagic Design, David leads efforts to expand the use of creative tools for visual media. On our show, he will be discussing the groundbreaking Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive—the world’s first commercial camera system designed specifically for Apple Immersive Video. We will dive into the technical breakthroughs of this system, including its dual 8K sensors, stereoscopic 3D capabilities, and the seamless workflow for creating content for the Apple Vision Pro.”
